Rebel Athletic Marketing Internship Program, Winter/Spring 2023-2024
We are now accepting applications for the winter/spring internship program, which will start on Wednesday, January 17, and end on Wednesday, May 1. Candidates must be available to work in the DFW, TX area anywhere from 12 to 24 hours a week and commit to the full term of the semester. You must be at least 18 years old to apply.
Rebel Athletic General Marketing Internship
We are searching for a unique, hardworking, and passionate candidate who is interested in gaining knowledge on numerous marketing strategies and tactics that can benefit you in any industry. During a marketing internship at Rebel Athletic interns will experience real world situations faced by a Challenger Brand as it grows and expands in the markets of both athletic fashion and cheer apparel. The marketing intern will work alongside the event marketing team, graphic designers, creative director, and the influencer marketing team to create and assist with projects to help continue the growth of the Rebel Athletic brand.
Interns will learn how to:
- Support marketing campaign planning and execution
- Merchandise product for various scenarios including in-store displays, content creation and more
- Apply data and research to marketing strategies
- Write copy for various marketing channels
- The path of marketing content creation from brainstorm to completion
- Plan and organize photoshoots
Interns will participate in:
- Formal and informal training opportunities
- Brainstorming sessions
- Start to finish execution of pop-up shops and experiences
- Weekly meetings with the entire marketing team
Qualifications:
- Currently in your junior or senior year of college majoring in marketing, graphic design, communications, fashion merchandising, or a similar category
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Seeking college credit* for internship hours

Rebel Athletic Social Media Internship
We are seeking a candidate that is passionate, enthusiastic, and thrilled to learn the ins and outs of social media marketing. At Rebel Athletic you will get the chance to work alongside Jamie Andries in assisting with planning, creating, and editing social media content. You will be given the opportunity to gain knowledge about the social media industry and how to apply the information you obtain to help you in your future.
Interns will learn how to:
- Create a comprehensive social media plan
- Create engaging content for various social media platforms, including behind the scenes content captured during photoshoots and events
- Edit social media content
- Monitor social media analytics
- Developing social media posting schedules
Interns will participate in:
- Formal and informal training opportunities
- Brainstorming sessions
- Start to finish execution of pop-up shops and experiences
- Start to finish execution of social media campaigns
- Weekly meetings with the entire marketing team
Qualifications:
- Current junior or senior in college working towards a degree in marketing, communication, graphic design, or a similar field of study
- Seeking college credit* for internship hours
- Hardworking and creative
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized

Rebel Athletic Marketing Graphic Designer Internship
We are searching for a unique, hardworking, and passionate candidate who is interested in gaining knowledge on print, digital, social, visual merchandising, and ecommerce design that can benefit you in any industry. During a marketing internship at Rebel Athletic interns will experience real world situations faced by a Challenger Brand as it grows and expands in the markets of both athletic fashion and cheer apparel. The marketing intern will work alongside the graphic designers and creative director to create and assist with projects to help continue the growth of the Rebel Athletic brand.
Interns will learn how to:
- Support marketing campaign planning and execution.
- Assist with the creation of concepts and materials for brand, print, digital, social, and photo projects.
- Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadline.
- Assist on photo shoots for both product and on-figure needs.
- Receive constructive feedback on ideas, concepts, and design work.
- Manage multiple projects in a wide array of mediums/channels in a fast-paced work environment.
- Revise existing material to bring up to current graphic standards.
- Assist with management of creative filing systems.
Interns will participate in:
- Formal and informal training opportunities.
- Participate in brainstorming and/or kickoff meetings.
- Start to finish execution of creative marketing deliverables.
- Weekly meetings with the creative and marketing teams.
Qualifications:
- Currently in your junior or senior year of college majoring in graphic design, communication, fine arts, digital media or a related major.
- Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or Indesign.
- Must provide their personal laptop with the Adobe Creative Suite installed to be considered.
- Strong work ethic and multi-tasker.
- Strong attention to detail with a solid eye for typography.
- Ability to work from home and commute to the Rebel Athletic office and various metroplex locations for photoshoot and video shoots.
